A little over a week ago I went in for a tattoo consultation. I’ve got three tattoos I want to get done, and have been waiting for the right artist. I thought I found her.
And I still think I did, except that she was going to take almost 3 months to get back to me on the first version of the artwork. With us possibly moving this summer, that was a bit of a problem. What if I didn’t like the art? How long would it take her to make changes? Would I be gone by the time she got it done, and any deposits I made lost since we would have moved? The timing was also off in that the 3 month mark would hit the same time as our anniversary. Swimming, or rather sitting in the water with a drink in my hand, is a significant part of what I plan to be doing. With a tattoo on the mend, I wouldn’t be able to
sit in the water swim. That would be a major bummer.
Yesterday, I found another artist. He will have me in the chair THIS WEDNESDAY! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!!
I am obviously very ecstatic. I’m getting my minnie tattoo first. It will be a simple minnie head, filled with a mandala-type design where a triskelion is the center. I sent the artist several photos to get started from, and he will have it worked up when we meet this Wednesday. We paid the initial deposit, so hopefully if all goes well, I will be able to post finished photos of it later this week. 🙂
