Busy, busy, busy

I can’t believe it’s been a month since I last posted. So much has happened, it feels like forever. We have made a few weekend trips, both trying to get this move settled, and for relaxation and fun. In one we engaged in some pretty satisfying fantasy and kinky play. (I’ll tell you more later. *wink*) Our house has sold, and we found a new house in California. I have been consumed with all the many things you have to do with arranging both a sell and a purchase of house, followed by all the packing and moving.

It has been a very trying time, and holding onto our D/ s, or feeling submissive at all has been a real challenge for me. But this too will pass, so I’m not worried about it. It is just a time of waning, and all will come back when we get settled. I’m actually pretty proud of us for not letting our morning routine slip at all. 😃 We also haven’t ever ‘left’ our 23/7 D/s lifestyle. We just haven’t had extra energy to put into it. I have also had many days where I have delt with so many things at once, I honestly felt like I would crumble into a ball of tears if I was asked to do one more thing, or give in one more way, like an act of submission or sexual availability. I think Master could easily tell.

Currently, we are on our 20th anniversary trip, and enjoying a new area of the Southwest desert. Unfortunately, I got an ear infection of some sort, and can’t sleep. I’m sure it’s going to put a cramp on our elevation gain and driving to be areas the next couple days, but oh well. We’ll have a great time no matter what we do.

Master has figured out our new flogger rather well, which is quite a bit different then our old one. It’s heavier, a lot heavier, and leaves a strong thud with each swing, rather then a sting. I do enjoy it, but it has also taken some getting used to. So I also got him a handmade dragon tail from a small, local shop. It’s a cross between a whip and a flogger, somewhat like a riding crop with a really sharp sting at the end. I’m hoping to also expand our collection, so he has a selection to choose from. We haven’t had a chance to play with the dragon tail very much, as we are still in recovery from the demands of the physical, mental, and emotional stress of this move, but we will eventually. I’m sure you’ll hear all about it in the next couple months 😉!

We move into our new place early July, so I’m hoping to get a new daily routine settled into, and build on our D/s a bit before we start our new jobs. That doesn’t give us much time, but I feel confident in our abilities. 😃😄

  1. Like you and Brigit, we are *fingers crossed* hoping for closing to happen tomorrow. Already had several delays on the buyer’s side. So we are in limbo until them.
P.s. I tried to sell or get rid of it all, he wouldn’t budge lol
Good luck on the second half of your transition! ❤️

    1. Ugh, being in limbo is the worst.
Hope it all goes through tomorrow. Are you already moved out? Do you have your next place picked out?

      1. Thank you Minnie! We are temporarily living in my brother’s rental house. It took over a year to get a buyer so we didn’t want to start looking until the closing goes through. We also moved to another state so the back and forth is quite difficult.

  2. I was wondering where you went! Welcome to California!!!! Daddy and I are in the very beginning stages of planning a cross-country move. California to New Hampshire. Selling our home here and purchasing there. The details are insurmountable to get through at the moment. Happy anniversary and do find time for those new toys. 🙂
