You can see me at the pool.

We’re finally in one house full-time. Whew! I haven’t written about it much, but this has been the longest, most stressful move ever. Since we made the decision to move to CA last May we have been back and forth more times then I could possibly count – like honestly I have no idea how many times I’ve gone one way or the other. And I’m not talking about the we-couldn’t-make-up-our-mind kind of back and forth, but the very literal moving and traveling back and forth. Some of it had to do with work, some of it our kids. It doesn’t really matter, all just life. But it is over now, and we are firmly in our California house, our last load of the Uhaul being unloaded in a day or two.

I don’t think I’ve written about our house here before. I love this house. In Washington, our house was just attached to ‘my’ yard, which I loved passionately, and still do, but the house sucked. It was dark, missing some key areas (like a laundry room), and felt like an endless pile of projects. Don’t get me wrong, this house needs updating, but it doesn’t require the constant level of chores that my homesteading acre+ did. (Though in this coronavirus world my homegrown produce and eggs are missed. :/ )

Other then needing a few general updates, there’s nothing about this house that’s missing. It was custom built to the original owners’ specifications in the 70’s. The design choices they made then feel totally suited to both today’s lifestyle, and fits my tastes perfectly! The living space is a large open floor plan (today’s lifestyle), but the rooms still feel separate (my preference). It has all the modern amenities (like a laundry room and huge bedrooms) without being oversized in total square footage. The living room is really impressive with really high ceilings and a massive stone fireplace. There’s a pellet stove insert, solid wood kitchen cupboards, and travertine floors. It’s also easy to lock and leave, making travel more convenient. However, all of this pales in comparison to one very specific feature.

There’s an entire wall that is ALL windows! This is my absolute dream feature in a house. I wanted to remodel our last house to have more windows, but the cost was incredible – 10’s of thousands of dollars. I know because I tried. In this house the entire back wall, looking into our private back yard, is all windows. There’s an oversized sliding door off the living room, and another off our bedroom. Combined with the windows lining the dining room and kitchen, and a near-skylight window facing the west, the house is always full of light. Plus it is California, so there’s light to be had. Best of all, the windows totally feed my kinks.

Our backyard isn’t really a yard, but a private pool surrounded by a short wall. When left alone, that’s the first place I go – totally naked. It feeds the exhibtionist in me. Not to be confused with voyeurism, or watching others, exhibitionism is being watched by others. It can be anything from just being naked to engaging in kinky play to straight up porn.

Here, we keep things simple. A bit of play outside, not knowing if the neighbors are watching or listening, or getting flogged against the glass.

I’ve got one more day home alone before the kids (and Uhaul) get here. I’ll be by the pool!

  1. I would love a house where I could be naked outdoors without fear. Currently I only go in my pool naked if it is late at night and then Iโ€™m as quiet as a mouse. But in my dream home, I have a private back yard where being naked is encouraged.

  2. It sounds wonderful Minne! Rex and I often spend the whole day naked while we are at my sons house on the island. They are all at work. We do know there are two elderly sisters (younger than me!! Haha) who life in a palatial house up the hill behind us. They are often standing at their window watching us! I think its their problem! They get a good look at Rex shen he walks around with an erect penis! Maybe we will invite them down one day! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
